Cosmetic Dentistry

There are some very experienced cosmetic dentists in Costa Rica. HTC works closely with each one to insure that their services to the health tourist will be complete and satisfactory. From a simple whitening procedure to complex dental implants, the cosmetic dentists here are experienced and very well trained. Long term orthodontia is also available for those making Costa Rica a frequent stop or for those on an extended stay here. As with cosmetic surgery, the costs for cosmetic dentistry procedures are significantly lower in Costa Rica than in other developed countries.

Weight Control

With the recent controversy in the United States about Phen/fen and Redux, two of the most popular weight loss drug combinations, many will be looking for alternative, non-pharmaceutical ways to help them loose weight--and keep it off! In Costa Rica there are several excellent weight loss programs as well as medical/nutritional specialists dedicated to helping people achieve weight loss, and control over future weight gain. Stress seems to be one of the main causes of contemporary mankind's many woes. A week or two at one of Costa Rica's tropical paradise Spas, with everything attended to and under medical supervision, is just the prescription for renewal and rejuvenation.
