American International School of Costa Rica

The American International School of Costa Rica (AIS) is a small preschool through twelfth grade school located in Ciudad Cariari, a very nice suburb west of San José. It is truly an international school, with 200 students from over 30 different countries. The core program is North American, using materials and methodologies from the U.S. About one third of our students are from the U.S. and Canada , one third are Costa Rican and the remainder come from other countries.
